GOPIO VIRGINIA was founded in January 2010. Jay Bhandari is the founder president and chairman of this chapter. Delegate Mark L.

A nonprofit Tax exhempt civic Organizatioon to promote Indian culture and contribution of Indians in the development of Economy, progress and betterment of socities. The official inauguration Ceremony was held on June 11,2010 at Potomac River on a cruise. The National President Dr. Piyush Agrawal presented the charter to the president Jay Bhandari and Oath was taken by the newly elected executive

committee. Keam was the chief guest of this function. Famous Gazel Singer Munni Begam entertained and performed for continuously for two and half hrs for members . Pictures of Inauguration Ceremony can be seen in the Gallary). Now We have added free legal services for poor people.Currently we have 55 members and we are planning for 100.

Festival of colors, Holi celebration at Indore city (India) and many countries where Indian live in sizable numbers . It is a major festival in India, celebrated for a week and people play with dry & liquid color, spay with water gun , Misile gun and colour face with hands to each other.
