Often times the phrase “The Struggle is Real” gets tossed around with a negative outlook. But in the Book of James, you’ll find truth in the struggle itself. The reality is, we’re blessed to even have the opportunity to call something a struggle. Yes, it’s real — but it doesn’t have to become your identity or your life’s motto.

Waking up with another chance to face your struggles is already a victory. God promises a life worth living through faith and the belief that He is the way through it all, no matter what comes your way. Everything here is temporary and worldly, but His grace is everlasting.

If you find yourself struggling today, pause for a moment, breathe deeply, and thank God for the opportunity to keep pushing forward. Life can be rough, unfair, and sometimes completely unjustified. Yet you are still here breathing, while many no longer have that chance and have moved on to the next place.

So while you’re here, embrace your grace. We’re all out here trying to make it through one day at a time. Just know — we’ve got your back, and so does the Lord.
