FARWELL 2018, I AM NEVER LOOKING BACK. Congratulations, we made it! No more second-guessing myself out of million dollar ideas. No more artificial mental restraints. No more anger. No more age, race, class or gender stereotypes brainwashing me to dilute my God given talents. No more pain. No more holding back. No more "moments" of wondering what people think. No more uninspiring conversations. No more unwarranted apologies. No more dimming my light, just blazing like the sun as they search for shade. No more swallowing words, when they must be said. SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE AWESOME WOMEN WHO LIFT UP OUR GREAT MEN. My visit to Havana, Cuba, was epic. In this picture I was on my way to a local restaurant named La Guarida where I met an older married couple from England. I first noticed them due to their public, yet appropriate, display of genuine affection and love for each other. They smiled, I smiled back and conversations began. We initimately spoke of God, love, pain, betrayal, dreams, balance, faithfulness and monogamy. Married for 47 years, yet their attraction for each other was comparable to newlyweds. She gently kissed him and tenderly touched his face at every available opportunity and he the same. She advised men need daily words of love, compassion, encouragement and gratitude too. I agreed. She said, in front of her husband, "He calls me his BELOVED WIFE. I call him my BELOVED LIFE because my life is happier and more meaningful due to his existence. We are imperfect, but that's OK because our mutual love/respect is PERFECTION." He smiled heroically as if the universe had just given him a standing ovation. Her message was a powerful TRUTH. Women, let us passionately love our men everyday, all day. Kiss him. Love him. Tell the world how blessed you are to have him. Write him love letters. Send him flowers at work. Greet him joyfully. Tell him funny jokes. Laugh even when his jokes aren't funny (LOL). Take him on a date in the beautiful outfit you just bought for him. Compliment him publicly and privately. Celebrate his big and small accomplishments. Tell him life is easier and happier with him. Tell him you are so proud of him. Tell him he is your BELOVED LIFE.
