1 year over the road and 6 months plus years experience for CDL flatbed

Clean MVR, if not clean no more than 1 moving violation.

Provide Medical certificate and be able to pass dot physical.
Be able to pass Dot drug screening

Valid CDL in state of residence.

Have work history that can be verified.

Driver responsibility:
Operate Truck safely

Be responsible enough to get fuel
and navigate the road without being micro managed.
Know how to inspect truck for defects and report to owner so defects can be corrected.

Lanes we usually operate in:
Midwest
South
Southeast
Usually no west coast
Some east coast if the pay is good... our goal Is to get them home on some weekends. But they should Be prepared to stay out between 5-10 days if Necessary.

Be aware of this if you see water spots on the ceiling or walls. This is what has been happening as the ice melted at during the day and re-freezing at night.

Here are some updates
20,000 busted pipes reported so far. What that means...

Companies that do water remediation will be backed up. Most help can’t start until this thaws out.

If you have the insurance app for the company you are with you can file claims with pictures on there.

The phones will be slammed but the claims department is open 24/7.

If you need help with how to handle insurance in situations like this let me know. I am a licensed insurance adjuster and a GC I can offer some advice.

Insurance companies get cheap during big hits so one bug thing to watch for is denial of valid claims. If you don’t know you can fight them they will play the numbers game and deny you and see if you fight.
