The system is unable protect victims and it often criminalizes them as well.

Jesus Marquez and I tried another one last Friday. Our client was charged with illegally carrying a gun but the officer on the case destroyed evidence, thus denying us the opportunity to retest.

After questioning him in a hearing outside the presence of the jury - he was appointed an attorney and the case was dismissed.

Jesus Marquez and I represented a young kid charged with terroristic threat. There were many problems with the case but primarily, important and material video evidence was lost. We filed a motion to dismiss based on due process violations and after picking a jury - the COURT granted our motion.

Yesterday police, as police everywhere do, brutalized and arbitrarily arrested protestors. Today the fight continues .

The family violence addition was because they were roommates.

After setting it for trial, the State dismissed the case today

On November 3rd we heard those sweet two words verdict in the Harris County Court House. After waiting 2 years in jail, our client finally got the justice he deserves. This was a hard ass battle. The pictures were gruesome, and the weapon was a sword. But we were prepared. We had courage and justice on our side and we tried the case of our lifetime.

4 days after coming from , Shane and I went to battle and got those sweet words: NOT FU**IN GUILTY. Thank you to our investigators to our intoxication expert and to the for all their help. This was a group effort and our client is so grateful! 💞💞💞
