It is not uncommon to start feeling pain or even start noticing other symptoms, later in the day, or even in the days following an accident. The body’s natural adrenaline response to a traumatic injury can temporarily minimize or even block any feelings of pain from injuries you may have incurred. If in an auto crash, you must seek medical treatment within 14 days of the crash, or you forfeit your PIP benefits.
