On April 24, 2024, the Supreme Court of Ohio will hold three oral arguments at Jackson Middle School, as part of its Off-Site Court Program. ⚖️

The students at Jackson, Wellston, Oak Hill, and Christian Life Academy (including members of the public) are invited to attend the oral arguments. Students also have the opportunity to ask the Justices questions.

For the past two weeks, teachers and local attorneys have educated the students on the court process and cases to be heard.

Avery Walke and I had the pleasure of educating nearly 140 students at Jackson High School. I love witnessing the knowledge and passion of these students! It makes me proud to be a JHS Alumna 🤍❤️

Black bears are considered a state endangered animal and are protected by Ohio law. It is a criminal act to hunt and / or kill black bears.

To report nuisance (posing immediate threat to health/human safety OR causing property damage), or orphaned/injured wildlife, contact local law enforcement, your Local Wildlife Officer (Jackson County Wildlife Officer | Ted Witham | 740-589-9986), or your regional District Wildlife Office (1-800-945-3543).

To Report a Wildlife Violation, contact local law enforcement, or 1-800-POACHER (726-2437), or submit a report online.

I grew up in Southeastern Ohio with the ambition to help others through a challenging yet rewarding career. Growing up in a small town taught me that there’s a creative solution to every problem. Among other things, this lesson fueled my passion to study law.

In 2016, I graduated from Jackson High School.

In 2018, I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement Technology and Administration from Ohio University.

In 2021, I graduated from Capital University Law School, in which I earned a Juris Doctor and Litigation Concentration. Shortly thereafter, I passed the Uniform Bar Exam and obtained a license to practice law.

Now, as a General Practice Attorney, I represent clients in several areas of law including adult criminal cases, juvenile matters, domestic relations proceedings, estate planning, etc. I also advocate for the best interest of children, as a certified Guardian ad Litem.
