From an idea… to a collection drive… to boxes packed and ready to go. 🇺🇸📦❤️

What started as an effort to support a platoon of deployed soldiers turned into such a great reminder of what can happen when a community comes together.

This platoon has a special connection to the Keller Williams Flagship family—one Realtor’s husband is deployed with the unit, and another has a close friend serving alongside them. That made this effort feel especially personal.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared the wish list, dropped off items, helped sort and pack, or supported the drive in any way. Every contribution helped us send a little bit of home to the soldiers serving far from theirs.

A huge thank you to Keller Williams Flagship for spearheading this effort and bringing so many people together to make it happen. We loved getting to work alongside and meet so many members of the KW Flagship team during the drive.

Always Welcome Home Inspections was proud to be a small part of something much bigger. Supporting the communities we live and work in—and the people who serve them—means a lot to us.

Yup. Ive been locked in an attic before. It took 45 min to get out using a piece of siding I found. Always check hardware before you close yourself in.

This past Saturday, we visited BARCS for the Kramer & Jess “All Paws Home” adoption event hosted by Mix 106.5. BARCS began the event with more than 400 animals in its care, including about 247 animals staying at the shelter itself.

We were happy to stop by, visit with some of the pets, and make a financial donation to support the important work BARCS does every day. With only 116 permanent dog kennels, the shelter can become overcrowded very quickly as new animals continue to arrive.

The event had an amazing turnout, and Mix 106.5 reported that 129 pets found loving homes, surpassing the event’s goal of 106!

Even after such a successful weekend, many pets are still waiting for their forever homes. If you are considering adding a pet to your family, stop by BARCS and meet the animals who are still at the shelter. Not every available pet has a photo on the website, so an in-person visit may help you find the perfect match. ❤️🐾
