Practitioners - in case you haven’t heard:
1. Effective July 1, 2026, if you are a guardian, you MUST petition the court for permission to move your person from their permanent residence.

2. BEFORE your client signs a Listing Agreement, they must petition the court for approval of the sale price using an appraisal ( not a comparative analysis) to sell estate property.

These laws were passed in the middle of the night. You think the dockets are heavy now? wait till this gets into full swing. I feel sorry for court staff.
