Tips on avoiding Probate :
1. For every titled vehicle that you own in Ohio (like a car or mororcycle or trailer) you can name your beneficiary now. Upon your passing that person then owns the vehicle. All they have to do in that circumstance is go to the title bureau to get a new title upon your passing.
2. This goes the same for almost all bank / investment accounts. If you name the beneficiary now, the property gets transferred at the moment of your passing, and there is no need for the Probate court for any of those items. It’s already theirs.
3. You could do the same with your house.
