Qualified immunity shields unsafe police officers from liability and consequences for the lives they steal. It is dangerous for everyone.

Please read my oped in USA Today about Luke Stewart, who was killed in Euclid in 2017. Watch Luke’s family tell his story.

Luke’s killer is still a cop and has never been disciplined for killing Luke.

An officer attacked Luke Stewart as he was sleeping in his car and then killed him. Qualified immunity prevents Luke's family from receiving justice.

Congratulations to our client Joe!

The jury saw the truth the police tried to hide…$1 million dollars for the family of Jeff Tyree, gunned down by Virginia Beach Police in his mother’s backyard.

Rest in Power ❤️

Today FG+G mourns the passing of our client, Wiley Bridgeman, age 66. Wiley was wrongfully imprisoned at age 20, and accused of a murder he did not commit. He was sentenced to death, a sentence later overturned to life, but he spent over 38 years in prison before he was exonerated and released in 2014 because of false testimony and withholding of evidence. Wiley never stopped fighting for his innocence despite his medical and mental health struggles. He was able to spend his last few years at his home in Richfield, Ohio, surrounded by nature. He loved to spend time with his brother, Kwame, and sister-in-law Lashawn, along with his extended family.

In Wiley’s memory, our firm will continue the fight against wrongful imprisonment that has caused him and so many others to suffer the loss of freedom. Rest in peace, Wiley. Donate to Witness to Innocence in Wiley’s memory:
