Sometimes nonphysical de-escalation is not enough, and most people are not prepared for this reality. Don't get me wrong, I always encourage nonphysical resolution of conflict. But when this is not enough, good people, when left untrained, are unnecessarily put in harm's way. It is my mission to ensure that our workplaces are safe.
