At a minimum, everyone needs an advance health care directive and a power of attorney. If you own real property, to avoid probate you generally need a trust. From the last sentence in this article: “proactively planning in the present and for the future.” So important for aging caregivers to do. I’m currently researching various housing models in the Chico area for adults with developmental disabilities. More to come. 🙂
