Every big company has a small beginning.

Ascend HSI started with one man's struggle to crack the US visa system.

Founder Vasanthan Ramakrishnan went through it himself, the confusion, the paperwork, the uncertainty.

Three years ago, he started Ascend with just an 8-person team, a clear mission, and no marketing budget.

That struggle became a mission, helping high-skilled immigrants find their path.

Today, Ascend has supported 300+ professionals, with 171 total approvals till date, including 130+ successful EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A cases.

And now, we're opening our first physical office in Lafayette, Indiana, on 20th June.

From one man's struggle to a place of our own, this is just the beginning of what's next.

Your USCIS case is stuck. And it may not be your fault.

Since December 2025, USCIS has put an indefinite hold on applications for nationals from 39 countries. Green cards, EADs, naturalisation, and citizenship ceremonies. All stopped. Based solely on the country of birth.

Cases that were already approved after January 2021 are now being pulled back for re-review. People are losing jobs. Families are apart. And USCIS has not given anyone a clear answer on when this ends.

This has now gone all the way to the U.S. Senate. On June 4, 2026, four Senators wrote a formal letter to DHS and USCIS asking for transparency and immediate action.

If your case is taking longer than expected, you are not alone. But waiting quietly is not going to help.
