Thanks to all who attended our recent Town Hall series! For 40+ years, Advocus Town Halls have given our lawyer agents and legal staff a place to discuss industry issues, share experiences, and learn from one another. The opportunity to exchange ideas matters—not just for better lawyering, but for stronger consumer protection.

At our recent gatherings, we examined the growing push for real estate professionals to enter the title business and why understanding who performs core title services (and who bears the responsibility for them) matters to all parties to the transaction.

We also presented CLE on the new ALTA 49 and 49.1 Endorsements, which provide post-policy protection for specific residential owner risks, including potential seller impersonation and forged instruments. Important topics and practical education, and an open forum for the real estate bar. That’s the Advocus Town Hall tradition—still going strong!
