فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو نے ایک مرتبہ دوبارہ اس امر کی وضاحت کی ہے کہ ٹیکس سال 2021 کے لئے انکم ٹیکس گوشوارے داخل کرنے کی تاریخ میں توسیع نہیں کی جارہی اور افراد، ایسوسی ایشن آف پرسنز اور کمپنیز کے لئے انکم ٹیکس گوشوارے داخل کرنے کی حتمی تاریخ 30 ستمبر 2021 ہے۔ایف بی آرنے جاری کردہ اعلامیہ میں کہا کہ آئرس سسٹم روانی سے چل رہا ہے جس کا ثبوت یہ ہے کہ 28 ستمبر کو تقریبا''1 لاکھ 50 ہزار گوشوارے داخل کئے گئے جو کہ کسی ایک دن میں داخل کئے جانے والے گوشواروں کی تعداد میں سب سے زیادہ ہیں۔ دریں اثناء گزشتہ سال کی طرح ایف بی آر نے اپنے سسٹم کی استعداد کار میں اضافہ کیا ہے تاکہ ٹیکس گزاران کو بہترین سہولیات فراہم کی جا سکیں۔
ایف بی آر نے ٹیکس گزاروں سے اپیل کی ہے کہ وہ قانونی پیچیدگیوں سے بچنے کے لئے آخری تاریخ ختم ہونے سے قبل اپنے انکم ٹیکس گوشوارے داخل کر لیں۔

Improvement of tax compliance culture is prime objective of the government and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is actively trying to achieve it with the cooperation of taxpayers. The decision of non-extension in due date for filing of return last year saw an overwhelming response from taxpayers.

In view of this the, Iris portal for filing of return this year was operationalized w.e.f 1st of July, 2021 in order to facilitate the compliant taxpayers.

FBR has advised all taxpayers required to file tax return by 30th September, 2021 to fulfill their legal obligation without waiting for the last date to avoid system delays which occur when a large number of taxpayers log-in for submission of returns near deadline. FBR has reiterated that there will be no extension in due date for filing of Income tax return.

ٹیکس قوانین پر عمل درآمدکے کلچر کو بہتر بنانا حکومت کا بنیادی مقصد ہے اور فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو ٹیکس گزاروں کے تعاون سے اس کے حصول کیلئے سرگرم عمل ہے۔ گزشتہ سال گوشوارے داخل کرنے کی تاریخ میں توسیع نہ کرنے کے فیصلے پر ٹیکس گزاروں کی جانب سے مثبت ردعمل دیکھنے میں آیا تھا۔

ٹیکس گزاروں کی سہولت کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے رواں سال گوشوارے داخل کرانے کیلئے آئیرس پورٹل کو جولائی 2021 سے فعال کر دیا گیا تھا ۔

ایف بی آر نے تمام ٹیکس گزاروں کو یا ددہانی کرائی ہے کہ آخری تاریخ کا انتظار کئے بغیر اپنی قانونی ذمہ داری نبھائیں اور30 ستمبر 2021 تک ٹیکس گوشوارے لازمی داخل کر لیں تاکہ آخری تاریخوں میں سسٹم پر پڑنے والے دباؤ سے بچا جا سکے۔ایف بی آرنے ایک مرتبہ دوبارہ واضح کیا ہے کہ انکم ٹیکس گوشوارے داخل کرانے کی مقررہ تاریخ میں توسیع نہیں کی جائے گی۔

*The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued draft income tax return form for Tax Year 2021 to enable tax payers to file their returns from July 01, 2021*.

The FBR issued SRO 730(I)/2021 dated June 11, 2021 to issue draft income tax return forms for salaried persons, business individuals, Association of Persons and corporate entities.

The FBR invited comments on the draft income tax return forms within seven days from the issuance of the SRO.

Last year the FBR had taken strict stance by not extending the last date for filing income tax returns beyond December 08, 2020 in case of salaried persons, business individuals and Association of Persons.

Further, it had also announced that the return filing for tax year 2021 would be started from July 01, 2021.

The last date for filing income tax returns by salaried persons, business individuals, AOPs and companies having special year is September 30. Meanwhile, the due date for filing income tax returns by corporate entities having normal fiscal year is December 31.

SECP launches online portal for expeditious bank account opening of corporates. This will provide Banks with real time access to statutory records of companies, enabling them to open corporate accounts without seeking physically certified copies of statutory documents. The online availability of statutory records will reduce the turn-around-time for opening of corporate bank account or for availing other banking services.
