Since 1984, the Virginia Law Foundation's grant program has provided more than $27 million in grants to support projects throughout the Commonwealth that facilitate access to justice, improve the administration of justice, and promote law-related education. The Virginia Law Foundation also recognizes and encourages excellence in community service and the practice of law through our Fellows program and offers not-for-profit continuing legal education through Virginia CLE®.

We’re excited to announce that the Virginia Law Foundation has joined the core network of Pro Bono Virginia partners supporting the Pro Bono Academy, a statewide virtual training program that equips attorneys to provide pro bono legal services — regardless of where they live or practice.

This partnership is squarely within our mission to promote the Rule of Law, access to justice, and law-related education, says Karl A. Doss, VP of Virginia CLE.

Through Virginia CLE, we look forward to providing technology, facilities, staff, and programmatic support to help connect volunteer attorneys with the training and resources they need to serve Virginians in need.
