Did you know?? According to The Chairman of the Board of Veteran's Appeals, an accredited VA attorney prevails in 90% of VA Disability appeals cases. That's the lowest denial rate for any group of Veteran representatives. Let us win for you! #win4ourvets.... Don't battle the VA alone.... #don'tgowithoutjoe

Another GREAT BVA hearing concluded with Britt at the Dorn VA Regional Center. Britt is a U.S. Navy Veteran client and friend. Britt was well prepared, and he finally got his case before the board of Veterans appeals. We are so proud to serve heroes like Britt.
Proud to serve our heroes and to announce FIVE new wins getting well deserving disability benefits for my Veteran friends, and waiting for results on several Veteran's appeals cases for Veterans waited years for this moment. CONGRATULATIONS!!...I am so proud to serve you!
The VA accountability law sailed through the house and senate. We desperately need this... The side of the VA I work with (the benefits side) is STILL playing games, and just denying claims in large numbers to clear the backlog and make it look like they are doing their jobs. I have one claim where a ratings officer actually opined on "whtether the weather" was cold enough to cause complications with frostbite, like they are some damn meteorologist. Congress wrote the law governing Veteran's disability claims. The Ratings staff seems to want to ignore it and do their own thing, making the Veteran then have to wait AGAIN to get before a BVA hearing. It's ridiculous.
While there are many good employees on the VA benefits side, there are also quite a few that simply do not follow what the law says, and under no circumstances should they be allowed to work on claims.
For Ratings Officers that abrogate the law, only to have it approved later on by a BVA judge, there should be recording, and ultimately dismissal and termination. They simply are not doing the job that the Congress of the United States charged them with, and think they are too powerful, or too protected by the "system" to be rooted out....they are not only harming our nations Veterans with the delays, but they are also creating waste by having the same claims in the system, over and over again, for years on end. GO TRUMP! GO SHULKIN! #DRAIN THE SWAMP!
From USA TODAY
Trump to sign VA accountability order
WASHINGTON – President Trump, seeking to rack up accomplishments as he approaches the 100-day mark in office, will sign an executive order Thursday to create an office at the Department of Veterans Affairs charged with holding more VA employees accountable for wrongdoing. The office will investigate allegations of misconduct – including retaliation against whistle-blowing employees who reported abuses — and seek to identify systemic barriers that have previously hindered the agencies’ top leaders from more adequately addressing such problems in the past, including with disciplinary action.VA Secretary David Shulkin told reporters the new office will report directly to him.
Good news is that two brave Veterans sued the Army over being denied VA disability benefits due to "other than honorable" discharge. In more cases than one might think, Veterans who say have been in combat and then have behavioral issues as a result of PTSD are then denied benefits as a result of the other than honorable discharge from the very behavioral issues that have been caused by the fact that they have PTSD. A win on this case would be an incredible boost to these Veteran's receiving benefits and getting the help they very much need. PTSD doesn't go away-- it usually worsens over time if left untreated, and it's a silent form of suffering that inflicts many Veterans. It is a very real disability that impacts the Veterans and their loved ones.
Congrats to these two soldiers that continue the fight for what is right.

Two former soldiers who have been diagnosed with PTSD have filed a federal class-action lawsuit to have their general discharges upgraded, according to a complaint filed Monday in Connecticut.

TOMORROW is Veteran's Day.
As usual, our team will be out in the field thanking Veterans for their service. They are the men and women who have risked, and in many cases, given their lives for our freedoms.
PLEASE BE SURE TO THANK OUR VETERANS FOR THEIR SERVICE...Tomorrow and every day.
I am deeply humbled at the opportunity to use the gifts God gave me to serve these men and women, and have been touched and blessed by the many dear friends I've made along the way.

This man is FINALLY the blessing that so many of our disabled Veterans have been praying for. He is going to clean up the VA, just like he promised!
Donald Trump, defying the pundits and polls to the end, defeated Hillary Clinton in Tuesday’s presidential election and claimed an establishment-stunning victory that exposes the depth of voter dissatisfaction – and signals immense changes ahead for American policy at home and abroad.

anyone been noticing that what's good news makes the stock market plunge, what's bad news makes it rally, and generally speaking, the world just doesnt make as much sense as it used to? I watch Barack Obama make speeches on issues and twist the facts to suit his agenda. Has everyone else figured out that no one believes a word that he says anymore? Would love to hear your feedback!
