I’m in the doctor’s office encouraging my doctor not to let a patient who treated her badly drive the narrative… which turned into a whole moment of LOVE in the office. the man checking in behind me said he needed a hug 😂 and I gave him one (was he just flirting 👀 😝 ) and then the nurse came around the desk and said- “let me get in on some of this love, I need a hug too” 🤣 Hey! Looks to me like a perfect day one of: Make the LOVE LOUDER 🗣️❤️

And just like that… I can REST and HEAL…

Justice shall be transitioned from the right HANDS to the BEST hands 🙌🏾 Kimberly Best will be on your November ballots and please give her your vote 🗳️

I. am. full.

My send off was nothing short of amazing. The opportunity to reminisce with friends new and old; hear from colleagues, deputies, clerks and community members about my years on the bench was an awesome way to close out this chapter. I was planning to have a REAL retirement party next month to give us time to plan and execute but… I don’t know! That closing crremony of court felt right; gave me closure and as I looked back on ending my 17 years of service I felt… peace. And that was a full blown God moment… So who knows… I may do a bigger to do or maybe I just wait until I launch my new adventure 👀 Time will tell.

In the meantime, thanks to ALL for the texts, comments, emails, messages, flowers, champagne, candles, cards and chocolate 😋 Just when I thought I couldn’t feel more grateful or loved… my village and beyond always comes through 🥰

For those who missed the closing ceremony, highlight reel, photos and full link coming soon! As I looked out on our city below from the Judges chambers’ balcony one last time… I swear I heard God whisper… well done. 😉
