Seven dwarfs. Seven wonders of the world. Seven deadly sins. Seven continents. Seven seas. Seven days in a week. And, of course, 007.
That’s a lot of famous sevens.
But none of them comes with a gunite pool and a putting green.
Apparently, the owners of 723 McCants Drive in Old Mount Pleasant are also rather fond of the number:
7 bedrooms. 7 bathrooms. Parking for 7 cars.
At this point, I’m surprised they didn’t price it at $7 million just to keep the theme going. Fortunately, they showed some restraint: $5.499M.
And there’s plenty more here besides the sevens.
We’re talking 6,512 square feet in the heart of Old Mount Pleasant, a spectacular kitchen with separate scullery, first-floor primary suite, enormous upstairs lounge, Carolina room with fireplace and grill, resort-style pool and a backyard putting green beneath those magnificent mature trees.
Oh, and you’re within walking distance of Shem Creek, Pitt Street Bridge and Alhambra Hall.
So maybe there really are eight wonders of the world.
The eighth just happens to have seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a Mount Pleasant address which, of course, begins with a SEVEN.
