Hi Cape Coral! I would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves. My name is Joey, my wife Sherie and I are the happy new owners of Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery! We moved to Cape coral 4 years ago and absolutely fell in love with this little slice of heaven. We are originally from the Chicagoland area where we have had multiple other restaurants. We moved to escape the politics, taxes, and the SNOW. Florida fits our core values and lifestyle perfectly. We love to boat and hang out regularly at a few of our favorite places, Backstreets, The Dixie, and Fins.

I would like to take a moment to talk about the future of Nevermind:

1. We love and support local live music as much as we possibly can! If you had a booking here or want a booking here, please send a message to us on Facebook messanger. We do not have most of the information needed to honor prior bookings, but would love the chance to do so. We have a lot invested in this great spot not only with our hearts, but monetarily. With that being said, we are going to self manage the restaurant and all of our entertainment booking so we can ensure a great future for Nevermind and our awesome staff. We are very hands on owners. We do appreciate all the efforts from prior ownership and booking agency. We will continue to have live music every Friday and Saturday and will be expanding on that rapidly as we progress. We hope to have a monthly schedule out for September soon!

2. Menu items will absolutely NOT be changing. Shannon and Chef Hugo have created something great here and we want to keep that tradition alive and well. We are probably one of the only restaurants left that do not use a freezer or microwave for any of our food. Everything is hand prepared and cooked. We might be bringing a few old favorites back and expand a touch, but the core menu will remain. Both of our patios are dog friendly, as we have 4 dogs ourselves. Keep an eye out for our new "yappetizer" menu coming soon. Your fur babies will be able to eat here too.

3.We have added a few TVs and have purchased the NFL ticket! We will be open every Sunday. We have added new later hours and will not be deviating from them.

4. We have brought in new high end bourbons like Pappy and Blantons. We will be bringing in high end tequilas too. Please watch for our page for pricing and selections. We will also be posting all our new drink prices, happy hour lineup, and specials soon. We are continuing the rewards program and will honor all of your old points you have earned.

Sorry for the long post, but wanted to get our message out there. We are excited about whats to come. We are greatful for the regulars here and hope to meet some new faces soon. Stop in and say hi. We will be here!
