October in Southwest Florida means “Red October”—and around here, that means redfish. 🎣
Fall can bring some of the year’s best inshore fishing, giving anglers another reason to explore Pine Island Sound and Charlotte Harbor. Add the gradual shift toward milder mornings and more comfortable evenings, and you’ve got a good excuse to spend more time outside.
On land, Cape Coral’s Oktoberfest returns October 16–18 and October 23–25 at the German-American Social Club on Pine Island Road. German food, live music, dancing, and a community tradition worth enjoying. 🥨
