Akron Law has one of the nation’s top trial advocacy programs, and we are proud that Attorney Andrew Burton serves as one of the coaches for its Trial Team.

Andrew works alongside other coaches to help law students develop the skills needed to become effective trial advocates, including everything from preparing witnesses and conducting examinations to presenting a case to a jury. We’re proud to see these students putting those skills to work and we wish the best of luck at their competition!

Nearly 40 years ago, Allen Schulman was a founding member of the Stark County Association for Justice. Each year, SCAJ recognizes members of our community who have made a meaningful and lasting impact to our court system.

This year, Attorney Andrew Burton was honored to present the Angle of Justice Award to Judge Taryn Heath and Judge Mary Falvey in recognition of their outstanding service and contributions to the Stark County legal community.

We are proud to continue our firm’s longstanding involvement with SCAJ and to celebrate two deserving members of our legal community.
