Don't be afraid to sit in silence. Life is busy and we get caught up in getting things done. This morning I left the house around 6:30am (late for me) for a 7:30am FaceTime call with the incoming tenant of a condo we just rented on the waterfront (it's the same one I posted 2/3 days ago). FT call went great, we went through some additional details that pertained to the unit and building and he is thrilled with the condo.

After the call I spent 20 minutes just enjoying the view. Spectacular harbor and city views, even on a cloudy day. I could have rushed out and moved on but it was really enjoyable to watch the sail boats sway, the airplains land, people hustling to work by foot, cars driving over the bridge and office lights getting turned on.

One take away: Slow things down and take your time. Enjoy the simple moments.
