I don’t usually take these “we got the keys” photos. To me, they can sometimes feel more like an agent promotion than a celebration of the buyer.

But Alexa mentioned there was one photo she had been looking forward to all along—with her pup, Chaca.

So I ordered the sign.

Today, Chaca got the best closing gift of all: a yard to explore, lower windows to watch the world go by and, hopefully, plenty of squirrels to keep an eye on.

Alexa has been one of the most naturally enthusiastic and positive first-time homebuyers I’ve had the pleasure of helping. Her excitement has been contagious from the day we started looking until the moment she got the keys.

Days like this remind me why I love what I do. ❤️
