It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the death of our friend, colleague, and most importantly, our mentor, Michael J. Ring, who passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, following a brief, but brave fight against lung cancer. Attorney Ring has been a part of the legal community for nearly 50 years when he established the Law Office of Michael J. Ring, PC after graduating from Suffolk University School of Law. While working in private practice, he also served as the First Assistant Register of Deeds for the Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds for almost 30 years. He truly was a one-of-a-kind attorney and human being who made connections with everyone he encountered and strived to provide expert assistance to our clients and colleagues. He was held with high regard by colleagues, judges and everyone in our legal community and will surely be missed by all. His dedication to his family and dedication to this profession was evident every day. Attorney Ring’s passing is a significant loss to our legal community and has made a lasting impact on us all. Our hope now is to carry on in his footsteps, so his legacy and work is never truly gone which I hope to do as I take over the business.
