Last week, the Liss & Andrews team attended the Michigan Association for Justice’s Fast Track to Justice Seminar and the 81st Annual Banquet. At the seminar, Partner Nick Andrews shared expert insights on effectively maximizing the value of client attendant care claims — later delivering a farewell address at the banquet to reflect on his presidential tenure and welcome the incoming MAJ president.

Are there limits to No-Fault benefits compensation?

Yes, different policies of insurance now have different coverage limitations. Under the 2019 amendments to the law, coverage for allowable expenses may be significantly limited depending on the insurance policy that applies to your motor vehicle collision. Medical and related expenses are subject to policy-specific caps (ranging from $50,000 to no-limit coverage), while work loss and replacement services remain limited to 36 months, with daily and monthly limits set by law.
