Recently we were helping refurbish a boat in Charleston, South Carolina where some forecasts are calling for 18" of rain from Hurricane Joaquin.

While the weather is beautiful here in SF, Joaquin is a reminder of why it's important to be prepared before a storm hits. In terms of securing and protecting your boat, here's an article rom Cruising World Magazine with expert tips, suggestions, and pointers for prepping your boat for a storm.
