Kendall Medway is a Levinson Axelrod Associate from our Edison office who focuses his practice on Workers’ Compensation cases.
As a longtime advocate for injured workers, Kendall has many years of experience litigating complicated claims involving issues of lien repayment as they relate to workers’ compensation, including Medicaid, Welfare, child support, Medicare, private health insurance, and more. His insight into the complex workings of the workers’ compensation system and other state and federal programs is invaluable to clients facing unfamiliar processes following injuries and disabilities.

Mark Kuminski of our office represented a local woman who was involved in a motor vehicle collision, which occurred when a commercial truck driver drove through a stop sign controlling traffic in his direction of travel. As a result of the accident, the plaintiff suffered a fractured wrist, for which she was required to undergo surgery. Following her surgery, she developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a malfunctioning of the Sympathetic Nervous System, which required that she undergo a series of three injections for same. In a trial on the issue of damages, the jury returned a verdict of $1,050,000.00.

Prior to pursuing a career in law, Matt worked as an environmental chemist and a claims adjuster for one of the largest insurance carriers in the world. While still working as a claims adjuster for AIG, he began attending law school at Seton Hall University School of Law and served as a law clerk with our firm. He has been with our team ever since – first as an Associate after passing the bar and later as a Partner.
During his time with our firm, Matt’s unique background in both environmental policy and the insurance industry have proven invaluable to clients who must often battle powerful insurance carriers that put profits over people. Rob’s practice is uniquely shaped by his both his legal experience and his time in the military. A former U.S. Army field artillery officer who served in posts such as Georgia, Oklahoma, Korea, and Iraq, Rob credits his sense of duty and desire to help clients fight for justice to his time as an Army Officer. His service also allowed him to hone the sharpened discipline and attention to detail he now applies to cases.
In his legal career, Rob has worked with numerous judges and offices operating at the highest levels of law, including the U.S. Magistrate for Pennsylvania and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
