As the weather warms up, more people and pets are outside. Unfortunately, dog bites tend to increase this time of year. A few simple precautions can help prevent injury:

▪️Ask before petting a dog
▪️Supervise children around animals
▪️Watch for signs of stress (growling, stiff posture, retreating)
▪️Don’t approach unfamiliar dogs
