JUST SOLD | This one required a little extra fortitude, patience, and faith in the process.

We knew from the beginning that we had something special, but also something that wasn’t going to be for everyone. This home had a true attached in-law suite with its own kitchen, laundry, living space, and exterior access, plus the entire home was wheelchair accessible. For the right buyer, those features were incredibly valuable. We just had to find that buyer.

We had a couple of offers along the way, but they were contingent and ultimately just weren’t the right fit. Meanwhile, my sellers made the big move out of state and completely emptied the house. I can only imagine how stressful it is to drive away from an empty home and trust that your agent is going to get it sold in your absence.

And finally, the right buyer came along. 🙌 We were also fortunate to have a great agent on the other side who was an absolute pleasure to work with, and together we got everyone to the finish line.

Not every home sale is a quick one, especially in this market. Sometimes the job is knowing what you have, continuing to market what makes it special, keeping everyone steady when things don’t happen as quickly as we’d like, and having the patience to wait for the right buyer.

So happy to finally put a SOLD sign on this one. Congratulations to my sellers on closing this chapter and moving on to what’s next! ❤️

JUST SOLD | This closing was such a great reminder of something that’s really important to me: supporting local businesses whenever we can.

So many Argyle-area people and businesses had a hand in getting this one to the closing table and helping my buyers get settled into their new home.

The listing agent lives right here in Argyle. I live here. Our mortgage lender Jim Juergens - NEO Home Loans is from Argyle, and our escrow officer works right here at an Argyle title company, Independence Title Argyle - Schultz & Kellar, PLLC. We worked with an Argyle family-owned roofing company, RepairYourRoof.com, a local plumber CR Plumbing, Air & Electric, and a home inspector from Argyle, Ninnis Home Inspection. And after closing, I sent over my decorator, also from Argyle, to help my buyers think through furniture placement and ideas for making the home their own.

That’s a whole lot of local in one real estate transaction. ❤️

We have so many talented business owners and professionals right here in our community, and I think we should all look for opportunities to support one another whenever we can. This transaction was such a great example of that.

And most importantly, congratulations to my buyers on their beautiful new home in Prairie View Farms! I’m so excited for them to start this next chapter.

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to see how my buyers make their new house feel like HOME.

One of my first-time home buyers recently sent me these before & after photos of their living and dining area in Canyon Falls, and I think they did SUCH a great job!

And can we talk about that fireplace?! 😍 I am in love with the stonework they added. It makes such a huge difference and really anchors the whole space.

I love getting these little updates after closing. It’s so fun to see a house I remember from showings turn into a home that feels completely like THEM.

Furst Ranch is developing quickly - there are a LOT of new homes going up over there. But new construction is only part of the inventory story in Argyle right now. 👀

One minute you're walking them into kindergarten... and the next you're helping plan a wedding. ❤️

This week is an extra special one for our family as our son gets married to the wonderful girl he met at Argyle High School. It has me feeling a little nostalgic and reminded just how quickly these years go by.
