Great news! It's my birthday!😆 Now let me tell you what I want. Of course during the lead up, everyone kept asking me what I wanted and until the last two weeks I couldn't think of a single serious thing (because a winning lottery ticket or fully loaded and paid for Grand Wagoneer would always be nice). Despite a high risk pregnancy, a complicated postpartum, the stress of both building a new home and sending my first born off to college, God kept me and my business. 🎉Happy Home Anniversary!🎉

Sometimes you meet people and the energy is just right! made house hunting a true pleasure! It took some time to find the right home bc this hardworking gentleman is serious about his finances and wanted the absolute best deal. His optimism and laid back spirit made the heaviness of this pandemic feel much lighter.

Girl, you did that!✋🏾 When my client Jasmine's rent went up, she knew it was time to go from renter to OWNER! When we met last year at another client's closing, she wasted no time getting her finances in order and before she knew it she was PREAPPROVED! We started searching, changed counties a couple of times (because of pricing and inventory), and finally we found the right community that offered just the kind of floorplan she was searching for, a spacious 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom open concept with a functional kitchen on a nice level lot. 🌅Sometimes as a woman, I feel empowered and eager to take on the world.  Other days, I wonder how much easier life could be if I were a man.  As a wife, mother of  3, and entrepreneur my life can get pretty chaotic and overwhelming.  I am one of the millions (and I would even venture to say billions) of women who work a "double shift"- a full day of work, followed by many hours of work in the home.  Now this by no means is a complaint because I love both shifts. But, I would be lying if I said it didn't present daily unique challenges.
 
Like so many people, my life has had to shift with the ongoing Pandemic.  I now spend the first half of my Monday through Friday teaching pre-school curriculum to my 4-year-old daughter, making breakfast and lunch for my kids, and even making sure they get at home P.E.  I spend my afternoons and evenings showing homes, writing contracts, hosting virtual buyers/sellers consultations, sitting in continuing education classes or following up on leads.  It's a lot but I'm making it work!  Because that's what WOMEN DO... WE MAKE IT WORK!
