The empire strikes back against the overreach of federal agencies! Proud of my friend Paul Clement for winning this one for his client, Axon. And I was honored to submit an Amicus Brief to the Supreme Court supporting this result on behalf of The Justice Society.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday made it easier to challenge the regulatory power of federal agencies in two important rulings backing Axon Enterprise Inc's bid to sue the Federal Trade Commission and a Texas accountant's gripe with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Really honored to be part of the trial team with Lisa Durham Taylor and John Stembridge of Stembridge Taylor who secured a hefty jury verdict on all three ADA claims against Clayton County School District for unlawfully discriminating against and retaliating against our client, a lifelong, dedicated special education teacher,because of her disability.

Feels good when justice prevails!!

Hard to believe it’s been SEVEN years since I started Pierson Law LLC! It’s been the most challenging, exciting, and rewarding experience of my professional career (not to mention my longest run at one law firm by far).
