So apparently all the buyers have woken up from the winter. They didnt see their shadows & are out in force. We have 5 of our short sales go under contract this weekend. We are getting great, quick responses from the banks also. How is everyone else doing on their short sales. Any great successes you would like to share? Or challenges that you may want others to try to help with?

Paper Work - Paper Work! Getting together 4 short sale packages right now and I really think at the end of the day my job is not selling real estate but killing trees. 80+ pages per package. There has got to be a way to streamline these things...

Borrowers MAY still owe even after a foreclosure??? No they do... and banks are coming after them. People need to understand this.

Michigan home owners who have lost their home to foreclosure or sold them in short sales are discovering they may still be responsible for paying back the debt, even decades later.

I was driving in my car yesterday and I was listening to Clark Howard. A woman called in asking Clark about whether her daughter should make an offer on a short sale. He gave the worst advice I have ever heard. I don't think he did it intentionally but it was misinformation all the same. It actually fired me up enough that I sent him the following email. Let me know what you think.
