As many of you know, Isabelle moved to Alabama a while back, but has stayed working for me remotely. On Monday, she let me know she will be leaving the firm to pursue her legal career locally. I have spent all week trying to convince her to stay, but my arguments fell short and her last day with us will be December 11th. To say that I am sad for us is an understatement, but to say that I am happy for her, would also be an understatement. She is going to be hard to replace. If you are a client of the firm, please be patient with us as we go through a bit of a transition in looking for someone to fill her heels.

I was woken up at 5:25am by thunder and I could not go back to sleep. I decided to get some work done. As I sit here on Sunday morning in bed at 6:22am working while my Husband and baby are passed out next to me, I stopped to pause and realize that I absolutely love what I do. I mean, I don’t HAVE to work right now, I wanted to. I was excited to get a few things off my plate before Monday. How many people can say that they love their job so much that working at 6:30am on a Sunday would actually bring them peace and excitement for the week ahead? 🙋🏼‍♀️
