Griffin-Spalding Law Enforcement Explorers Griffin-Spalding Police explorers gives young adults ages 14-21 the opportunity to learn firsthand what it takes to be a police officer!

Law Enforcement Explorers is a program run through the Boy Scouts of America and is an experience based learning program that teaches young adults about law enforcement. Explorers have the unique opportunity of working closely with officers to learn more about law enforcement. As an explorer, you can expect to learn about:
• Traffic stops
• Felony arrests
• Criminal law
• Arrest procedures
• Build

ing searches
• Drugs and Paraphernalia recognition
• Traffic accidents
• Domestics
• Drill and Ceremony
Law enforcement Explorers gives young adults the opportunity to compete in local, state and national competitions in scenarios such as building searches, hostage negotiation, felony traffic stops and rapid deployment.
