It’s just a job!

That coworker you can’t stand? Just a coworker.
That boss who doesn’t appreciate you? Just a boss.
That drama that had you stressed all week? Leave it right where you found it.

Do your job. Collect your check. Go home❤️

You can’t control
who walks into that building.
You can’t control their attitude.
You can’t control what they say.

And you definitely can’t control
whether they like you.

But you can control how much access
you give them to your emotions….

Let them manage
their own emotions.❤️

Just sayin……

Sometimes the toxic employee isn’t the real problem—the management protecting, excusing, and enabling them is. When there are no consequences, the behavior usually gets worse. Protect your peace, do your job, collect your check, and let management manage the monster they created….

Accept people for who they are—
but place them accordingly.

You are the CEO of your life.

Acceptance means you stop wasting energy trying to change people.
Boundaries mean you decide how much access they get.

Everyone doesn’t deserve the same closeness.
The same access.
The same seat at your table.❤️

Ghost jobs have frustrated job seekers for years. But lawmakers and regulators are starting to ask a different question: Is it deceptive—or even illegal—to advertise a job you never intended to fill? 👀

The rules may be changing. And employers—and job boards—should be paying attention.

Monday has a way of making people feel like they're already behind before the day even begins.
Take a deep breath.
You don't have to solve every problem today. You don't have to respond to every comment. And you certainly don't have to carry everyone else's stress.
Go to work. Do your job. Protect your peace.
Collect your paycheck.
One day at a time is enough!❤️

Their dysfunction doesn't have to become your dysfunction.
That's your boundary.
You can work around chaos without becoming chaotic.
You can work with miserable people without becoming miserable.
You can be surrounded by gossip without participating in it.
You can have a difficult manager without giving them control of your peace.
And you can work in a dysfunctional workplace without allowing that workplace to follow you home.

So this week...
Do your job.
Protect your peace.
Collect your paycheck.

And leave their dysfunction right where you found it.
At work.....Happy Sunday, my friends. Be blessed ❤️

You can’t outwork favoritism—or nepotism.

Your boss may favor friends, family, or someone’s child over you. Unfair? Absolutely. Illegal? Not always.

But when “favoritism” consistently benefits one protected group, it may be discrimination.

Don’t just ask who got favored.
Look for the pattern.
Sometimes favoritism is just favoritism.

Sometimes, it’s evidence❤️

At work, you need to be bilingual.
Because people usually aren't going to tell you they're discriminating against you.

They're not going to say, "You're too old."
They might say:
"We need some fresh energy around here."

They're not going to say, "She's too aggressive because she's a woman."
They might say:
"She's difficult."
"She's not very likable."
"She needs to soften her approach."

And race can have its own vocabulary:
"He's not a good culture fit."
"She's intimidating."
"He doesn't have the right executive presence."

Now, none of those statements automatically proves discrimination.
That's why you need to become bilingual at work.

Learn what they say.
And learn what they might actually mean.
Because once you learn the code words for discrimination... you can't unhear them.❤️
