Whether you are looking to buy, sell, or invest in Metro Atlanta this year, the way real estate agents get paid is no longer the same. If you don't know the new rules, you could be leaving thousands of dollars on the table or missing out on your dream home entirely.

Here’s the jargon-free truth:
🔹 Buyers: You must sign a Buyer Representation Agreement before even touring a home. This details exactly how your agent is paid—and yes, it is 100% negotiable.
🔹 Sellers: You aren't forced to offer a set commission to the buyer’s agent on the MLS anymore. But skipping out on concessions completely could eliminate a massive portion of your potential buyers who can't fund both a down payment and agent fees out of pocket.
