👀 Ryan Serhant just told Fox Business that Huntsville, Alabama is a market people will be talking about in five years.
Those of us in North Alabama aren’t exactly surprised.
But here’s the part of the story I think gets even more interesting…
Drive outside Huntsville and you’ll find something buyers in many growing markets have a hard time finding at all:
Homes on the water. Real water. The Tennessee River and Wheeler Lake. 🚤
Not just a neighborhood pond or a distant water view — I’m talking about communities where boating, fishing, sunsets from the dock and weekends on the river can actually be part of everyday life.
For someone moving from a market where waterfront property is extremely limited, prohibitively expensive, or hours away from home, North Alabama deserves a serious look.
Huntsville brings the jobs, growth and national attention.
But Athens, Decatur, Rogersville and the communities along Wheeler Lake offer something else entirely:
The opportunity to build your life around the water — while still being connected to one of the fastest-growing areas in Alabama.
So when Ryan Serhant says to watch Huntsville?
I’d add one little piece of advice:
Watch the river, too. 🌊
Because some of North Alabama’s best-kept real estate secrets are sitting right on its banks.
Ryan Serhant says high earners now treat real estate like portfolio management, acquiring multiple homes across states for tax benefits and flexibility.
