Though prices continued to ⬆️ year-over-year in September, prices are starting to ⬇️ a bit, (down 2.6%) when compared to the peak, earlier this year in May 2022.

➡️ Sales are still occurring across the mountains of NC, just not at the level of sales in 2021
➡️ Inventory was down 13.7% year-over-year
➡️ Lower inventory means rising prices, with the average sales price in the area growing 6.7%
➡️ The region's listings average 3.8 showings per listing...but buyers are seeking homes closer to metro areas, with listings in the city of Asheville averaging 7.2 showings and Henderson County averaging 5.2 showings
