The Public Interest Law Clinic -Pilac Tracer Study is here! The study identified 30 former participants of the PILAC program, traced their journey since law school and used this information to understand the PILAC programme’s impact on their careers, and their contribution to social justice. In addition, the tracer study identified which of the PILAC interventions had the most impact on the students, and also examined specific aspects of these interventions that enabled them to be effective.

Yesterday PILAC held a Radio Talk Show on Heart FM in Mubende, on Criminal Justice, touching on the circumstances in which one should be lawful arrested, by who and how. Expounding more on the remedies to unlawful arrests;
1. Identify the person making the arrest
2. For the case where a loved goes missing mysteriously:
-Make a report to police
- Check the mortuary
- Make a media announcement
- Distribute posters of the missing person in the community

With support from Democratic Governance Facility - DGF , PILAC conducted a Radio Talk Show on; the Role of the Local Council in promoting access to justice in communities where they operate, on Heart FM Mubende, on 11.02.21. The PILAC team also paid a visit to the Muinaina Farm Prison.
