*Easter is the reason today criminals are presumed innocent until proven guilty through the proper constitutes of the law.*

In history, one Friday, about 2000 years ago, an innocent man named *Jesus of Nazareth*, in todays Israel, was sentenced by the crowd to die and was executed by Roman soldiers.

The legal fraternity in the Middle Ages, decided to remember this historical event of the wrong ex*****on of Jesus and ushered the presumed innocent until proven guilty legal constitute.

Today, in countries where Easter is celebrated, the courts are closed-lawyers dont work. On Easter Monday, lawyers and their families eat eggs, a symbol of resurrection, and ponder how an innocent man was sentenced to die.

*The miracle of Easter is that Jesus rose again and today he lives! His death became a ransom for many. Whoever believes in him will have eternal life. John 3:16*
