💼 Should employees always be available after work?
With smartphones and remote work, the line between “work” and “life” has almost disappeared. Many employers expect instant replies, even outside office hours. But where do we draw the line?
👉 Is answering emails at 10 PM part of being a “good professional”… or is it unpaid overtime?
As lawyers, we need to discuss:
Do employees have a “right to disconnect”?
How can companies balance flexibility with respect for private life?
Should laws step in to protect workers from 24/7 availability?
I believe healthy boundaries are not just good for employees — they also create more productive and sustainable workplaces.
