It was such a pleasure helping Ray and Misty successfully complete their Thai driving licence extensions here in Chiang Mai today.

Originally from the USA, Ray and Misty have called Thailand their second home for many years. We’re so pleased to have had the opportunity to assist them, and even more grateful for the chance to get to know them. Thank you both for placing your trust in Chiang Mai Assist. 💛

One of the places we love spending our Saturday mornings is BYC Pickleball & More. Robert and I play there regularly, and Far Away Fred is usually on court with us too. The mix of players changes from week to week, which is part of the charm. New faces, different games, plenty of laughter and always a warm welcome.

Khun Singh is often there with a pot of freshly made coffee, and Dana’s famous banana bread has become a much-loved addition to our Saturday mornings. Good exercise followed by fresh coffee, banana bread and conversation? We think that’s a pretty good way to start the weekend! 😊

🇹🇭 IMPORTANT THAILAND VISA-EXEMPTION UPDATE

Thailand has officially revised its visa-exemption arrangements.

From 15 September 2026, the current 60-day visa-exemption scheme will be replaced by revised arrangements. For UK, USA, Australia, Canada and other eligible nationalities, the visa-exempt stay for tourism will be up to 30 days.

Entry eligibility varies by nationality. Please check the rules applicable to your passport and travel date before making your travel arrangements.
