ภาพรวมของอุตสาหกรรมสตาร์ตอัปไทยในปี 2569 ตกอยู่ในสภาวะที่ค่อนข้างเงียบเหงาและซบเซา ธนพงษ์ ณ ระนอง กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท บีคอน เวนเจอร์ แคปิทัล จำกัด (Beacon VC) ให้มุมมองว่า ปัจจัยหลักเกิดจากสภาวะแวดล้อมระดับมหภาค ทั้งเรื่องการเมืองและสงครามที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อบรรยากาศการลงทุน รวมไปถึงข่าวสารเชิงลบที่ส่งผลต่อความเชื่อมั่นในอุตสาหกรรม

สมาคม Thai Venture Capital Association (TVCA) ให้ความสำคัญกับการส่งเสริมมาตรฐานด้านจริยธรรมและธรรมาภิบาลในการลงทุนใน ecosystem สตาร์ทอัพมาโดยตลอด

จากกรณีที่มีการกล่าวถึงพฤติกรรมที่ไม่เหมาะสมของนักลงทุน VC รายหนึ่ง ทางสมาคมได้รับทราบประเด็นดังกล่าว และได้มีการประชุมหารือและมีการสื่อสารไปยังสมาชิก เพื่อเน้นย้ำถึงหลักการดำเนินงานและการลงทุนที่ยึดมั่นในความซื่อสัตย์สุจริต ความโปร่งใส ความรับผิดชอบ และการหลีกเลี่ยงผลประโยชน์ทับซ้อน ซึ่งเป็นมาตรฐานสำคัญของอุตสาหกรรม Venture Capital

นอกจากนี้ ทางสมาคมกำลังจัดหาแนวทาง ที่จะช่วยให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการลงทุนที่ถูกต้อง รวมถึงสร้างระบบที่ช่วยดูแลและรับข้อร้องเรียน ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพฤติกรรมที่ไม่เหมาะสมจากนักลงทุน VC ทั้งนี้ทางสมาคมจะประสานงานกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการดำเนินการตามความเหมาะสมต่อไป

สมาคม TVCA มุ่งมั่นที่จะส่งเสริม ecosystem การลงทุนที่มีธรรมาภิบาล โปร่งใส และเป็นธรรม เพื่อสนับสนุนการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนของผู้ประกอบการและอุตสาหกรรมสตาร์ทอัพในประเทศไทย

Thai Venture Capital Association (TVCA) has committed to promoting high standards of ethics, governance, and responsible investing within Thailand’s startup ecosystem.

Following recent discussions regarding alleged inappropriate conduct by a venture capital investor, the Association has acknowledged the matter and emphasized with our members the importance of investment practice with integrity, transparency, accountability, and the avoidance of conflicts of interest — principles that are fundamental to ensure trust within the venture capital industry.

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen a healthy and founder-friendly venture ecosystem, TVCA is exploring initiatives to further promote best practices in venture investing. These efforts include providing educational resources on responsible investment practices and working toward mechanisms that can help support the reporting and review of concerns related to inappropriate conduct within the venture capital community.

Where appropriate, the Association will coordinate with relevant stakeholders and organizations.

TVCA remains dedicated to fostering a transparent, ethical, and founder-friendly venture ecosystem that supports the sustainable growth of entrepreneurs and the startup industry in Thailand.

หากเปรียบเทียบสถานะของระบบนิเวศสตาร์ตอัปไทยในปัจจุบัน คงไม่ต่างอะไรกับผู้ป่วยวิกฤติที่กำลังนอนรักษาตัวอยู่ในห้องไอซียู ซึ่งมีอาการทรงตัวท่ามกลางความเงียบงันของบรรยากาศการลงทุนที่ซบเซาลงอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ซ้ำร้ายยังต้องเผชิญกับสภาวะเลือดไหลไม่หยุดจากการที่เม็ดเงินลงทุนจำนวนมหาศาลไหลออกสู่ตลาดต่างประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง สถานการณ์อันเปราะบางตลอดหนึ่งปีที่ผ่านมานี้ได้ก่อให้เกิดคำถามสำคัญที่ดังก้องไปทั่วทั้งวงการว่า ทิศทางของสตาร์ตอัปไทยจะสามารถฝ่าทางตันและก้าวข้ามวิกฤตินี้ไปได้อย่างไรเมื่อศักราชใหม่ปี 2026 มาถึง
