With effect from 9 May 23, the procedure for HDB purchase has changed.

Application will be via the below link instead, My Flat Dashboard:

Instead of HLE application, now it is known as HFE, which integrates the loan and grant applications. You can also obtain the IPA from financial institutions from this site.

HFE letter will inform you what type of flat (new or resale) you are eligible for, and is valid for 6 months.

- MOP extended to 10 years
- Claw back of subsidy upon sales (for BTO buyer)
- Income ceiling cap of max $14,000
- Must not own or sell any private property within 30 months
- Cannot rent out whole house

Public opinion/ feedback for the future of HDB has ended! 🧐

Now awaiting for the next changes to take place! Will we be seeing a more fair system such that all Singaporeans will have a fair chance for the new HDB in prime district?

Or will we see more actions to curb the growth of future HDB - such as longer MOP, not allowed to rent out even after MOP, capital gain tax on the proceeds from selling HDB, etc 😅😅😅

Great thinking!?

How much your HDB had risen since the day you bought? How much more appreciation will you achieve?
Why the rich always get richer, and they can have 1st house, and then many more? Why can they leave behind these legacies to their next generation?

The key is to see opportunity and then act on it. From your HDB, you can always cash in on the profits with the capital appreciation and then move to possibly an Executive Condo to make your next growth in your capital appreciation.
Make your assets work for you, and not make them become a liability to you!
