There is a point during winter where the excitement of sunnier, more relaxed days is what keeps us motivated - and what place to be better driven by than South Italy?!

Luca Guadagnino’s "A Bigger Splash" partly does the job if that is the case, sporting a lot of great imagery that evoke a cinematic feel specific to motion picture classics from 60’s and 70’s Italy & France - that and the intensity and drama of how musicians might lead their lives even on a relaxed getaway.

So, if you are feeling for some unpredictable narratives that give old cinema framing - say no more.

Great apartments are not always preceded by a lovely reception area, yet when they are, it definitely contributes to the whole experience.

Four out of our five flats have lobbies to look forward to, and we know how much that counts when it comes to first impressions or going about your everyday life.

Functional at heart, flooded with light, and with materials that will age nicely, the atmosphere tends to make guests feel welcomed, and more positive about their stay at Nook.

The Romanian Atheneum is one of our City’s most remarkable landmarks, dating back to 1888 as the brainchild of French Architect Galleron - sporting a mix
of neoclassical and eclectic styles that can be found throughout the city dating from that period’s architecture.

Worth noting that the building was built mainly out of public donations, and has been hosting local and international philharmonic orchestras and musicians
ever since.

This lovely landmark is a 20 minute walk from our Nooks at Sfinții Voievozi, and an easy commute from all the other ones.

It’s great seeing parts of our city thriving, and the wellness scene is one that really picked up speed over the last few years. More than just a trend, locals rightly found that living long and healthy and intentional lives need our bodies, minds and hearts to be at one with each other.

That and also the business, and everyday life and the ever growing need of constantly becoming better have contributed to an evolving community where people share their journey and experiences.

We are all about keeping things approachable and at a great level, where guests feel welcomed and feel great without the pretense or stiffness of most luxury stays.

This is more like an act of appreciation towards those who choose to stay in our Nooks, inspired mainly by what we always wanted to experience from travelling.
So, expect to find spaces equipped for multipurpose use, with great quality applieances, furniture and comfortable hotel grade beds.

The location is always part of any experience, that’s why our flats are all positioned within reach (a lot of times, walking distance) from main cultural and business hubs with easy access to exciting wellness facilities.

Bucharest has a charm of itself - with streets, buildings and internal courtyards that are worth discovering. And now, with the weather being great for spending time outside we thought about presenting: Sera Eden.

Placed around The Rossetti area of Historic Bucharest, the space has main street access, yet is hidden behind an old property that used to belong to one of the city’s most prominent families, Brătianu, sharing an expansive back yard with the property.

Being built on metal frame structure and drawing inspiration from green houses, the space sports a great atmosphere with people being spread across the whole area, in-between its interior, the yard and the old-building’s stairs.

Sera Eden is an unmissable spot if you want to spend long qualitative evenings outdoors and experience the city’s unique atmosphere.

We know that not every stay can just be holidaying around, yet no one said our time away for work needs to be just about the brunt. Our flats are placed around some of the city’s main business centers and hospitality hubs, with easy commute between neck-to-neck meetings.

Back at our flats, you will have a comfortable space with everything you need, and be able to disconnect and jump straight in bed for a relaxing night's sleep.

We're big at sport at Nook, and now that autumn is around the corner two events dear to us are on the horizon. For the last four years has been bringing people together in an encouraging setting where they can practice yoga, meditation and other wellness activities under the guise of some of the most inspirational local and international fitness facilitators.

The event started from identifying the local community’s desire to participate in high quality wellness and sporting experiences, alongside like-minded individuals. Add to this, that from the beginning Wanderlust aimed to be open to practitioners of all levels, as a space where they can just attend no matter what level of practice they find themselves at.

Some years down the line the event has been constantly improving, with currently offering two formats: Wanderlust Itinerary, happening this week on the 4th of September at , a curated set of indoors experiences and Wanderlust 108 taking place on the 4th & 5th of October at , which consists of diverse set of classes and experiences over those two days.

One of the things we’ve always considered is decorating our apartments in a way that they feel like our own home. It comes both out what we would have wanted to experience on our own travels,
and our consideration for our own guests.

In the end, living in spaces that inspire us and make us feel comfortable, shouldn’t be just for when we stay at home.

We’re excited about the upcoming George Enescu International Festival, where every two years local and international musicians gather to celebrate the Romanian musician.

Seen quite early as a prodigy, George Enescu, or Georges Enesco as he would be known on the international stage as a prominent conductor, violinist, pianist, teacher and composer studied at both the Viennese and Parisian Conservatories, to later play later a key role in establishing a greater attention towards music within pre-WWI Romania, to then settling in Paris in 1946, after years of touring around the world.

The year of 1958, saw the first year of the event, with Romania being one of the only communist block countries that would open itself to international events, and has since brought musicians from all parts of the world.

You can attend the event anytime between the 24 August and 21 September, with venues spread around Central Bucharest.

Not far from Nook Sfinții Voievozi you will find Cișmigiu Gardens - a landmark park that dates back to the middle of the 19th-century. Great for calming evening walks, or energizing running sessions, then park be accessed either by walking through the old neighborhood or in a more direct way via Calea Victoriei.

After exploring you will find a great selection of cafes and restaurants located on the East side of the park.

Local tip: Try Beans&Dots for your morning coffee or FIX me a drink for artisanal drinks in the evening.

Our goal has always been to put together balanced spaces that people enjoy living in, and from where they feel like they can thrive from. In that respect, we know that great days begin or end with great routines.

Be it journaling or having breakfast from our Sfinții Voievozi or Badea Cârțan apartments, having a lovely neighborhood or park walk from Floreasca and Herăstrău or tuning down around evening time in any of our spaces, where we hope will get the chance to set your own routine.

Worth mentioning: all of our locations have yoga, pilates, or fitness studios within walking distance.
