Márcio Santos is a historian, author of books on Brazilian colonial history, former human rights consultant and former manager of a social project focused on the sustainable development of poor rural communities. Traveller and hiker with experience of cultural trips to 40 countries, he has done voluntary work in Palestine, Portugal and Brazil and spent a total of 7 months in Iran between 2024 and 2025. He is currently developing independent research into the history of the Arab peoples and their expansion into the Middle East and North Africa. An activist for Palestine, he has taken part in various actions, such as demonstrations, cultural initiatives, etc.
