Die Ev. Jugend im Rheinland begrüßt das Engagement junger Menschen in der Kampagne Fridays for future. Sie fordert ihre Mitglieder auf, Klimawandel und -gerechtigkeit zum Thema in den Gruppen und Einrichtungen zu machen und ruft dazu auf, dass sich Jugendgruppen in geeigneter Weise an Aktionen der Kampagne Fridays for future beteiligen.

Darüber hinaus werden die Ev. Schulen gebeten, auf das Engagement ihrer Schüler*innen wertschätzend zu reagieren.

Within the framework of the project "Youth for Eco Justice and Peace", youth from Mec de Cuba (SCM Cuba) and the Reformed Presbyterian Church "Juan G. Hall" are developing workshops with tools for recycling, treatment of solid waste and planting trees with children and adolescents in the community El Castillito, Cárdenas, Matanzas, Cuba.

The Student Christian Movement of Colombia MEC Colombia calls on public opinion to denounce the delicate situation of violence that returns to that country after the signature of a peace agreement. Violent acts have been exacerbated in recent days because of the threats and assassinations of social and political leaders in different regions of Colombia.

They urge that the lives of threatened leaders in Colombia are protected and invite young people to mobilize in prayer and transforming action so that violence ceases and pathways of dialogue that allow reconciliation are opened.
