SUSPENSION OF COURT WORK.

The District Bar Association, Sukkur, strongly condemns the issuance of a notice by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to Mr. Ayaz Latif Palijo, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, in connection with the lawful expression of his views on matters concerning Sindh and other issues of public importance.

The DBA Sukkur stands With Ayaz lateef palejo Advocate & The lawful expression of views by a member of the legal fraternity must not be treated as a criminal offence or subjected to coercive action .

In solidarity with Mr. Ayaz Latif Palijo, and in support of the Sindh Bar Council’s condemnation, the District Bar Association, Sukkur hereby announces complete suspension of court work through Out District Sukkur on Monday, 10th August 2026.

CONDEMNATION OF RESOLUTION OF PAKISTAN BAR COUNCIL

The District Bar Association, Sukkur, unequivocally condemns and outright rejects Resolution No. 2 of the Pakistan Bar Council to the extent that it contemplates or facilitates the creation of new provinces by altering the territorial boundaries of Sindh. The Association firmly declares that the territorial integrity, unity, and historical identity of Sindh are non-negotiable and inviolable. Any proposal, whether advanced under the guise of constitutional provisions or political expediency, that seeks to divide or diminish the geographical boundaries of Sindh constitutes a direct assault on the integrity, unity, and collective rights of the people of Sindh and shall be resisted with unwavering determination.

The District Bar Association, Sukkur, reiterates its clear, uncompromising, and unwavering stance that it will never permit, support, or provide any space for the creation of new provinces within the territorial limits of Sindh. Standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Sindh, the Association pledges to oppose every such attempt through all lawful, constitutional, and democratic means, and calls upon the entire legal fraternity and civil society to unite in defending the territorial sanctity, historical identity, and indivisible unity of Sindh against every attempt to weaken or fragment it.
